oin us for a focused, hands-on weekend at the Gloss University Studio in Carol Stream, Illinois.
This two-day training takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 26–27, and is limited to just 6 students to ensure personalized instruction, hands-on experience, and real-world learning.
Designed for detailers with basic professional experience or those looking to refine and expand their paint correction skill set, this class focuses on building confidence, consistency, and a repeatable process for delivering professional paint correction and ceramic coating services.
What Makes This Training Different
Students will work on two dramatically different vehicles throughout the weekend, creating a realistic and challenging learning environment.

Learn how to approach heavily neglected paint systems, evaluate risk, identify defects, and select the appropriate correction strategy to maximize results while maintaining efficiency.
Brand-New Vehicle with Under 100 Miles
Focus on finishing techniques, light correction, surface preparation, and professional ceramic coating installation on a 2026 Model vehicle.
This side-by-side approach gives students a real-world understanding of how paint correction strategies change depending on vehicle condition, customer expectations, and desired outcomes.

Important Class Disclaimer
This is not a beginner-level detailing class.
Students should have a basic understanding of machine polishing and paint correction terminology. While prior professional experience is helpful, the primary goal of this class is to develop consistency, confidence, and real-world problem-solving skills through hands-on experience.
Why This Training Is Different
• Limited to just 6 students
• Real vehicles, real defects, real-world results
• Extensive hands-on training throughout the weekend
• Small class size allows for personalized instruction
• Learn paint correction and ceramic coating together as a complete service offering
• Designed to help technicians improve both technical skills and service confidence
Real-World Vehicle Evaluation & Client Communication
One of the unique advantages of this training is the opportunity to work on two completely different vehicles at the same time—a heavily neglected, high-mileage vehicle and a nearly brand-new vehicle.
While the technical processes may differ, so do the conversations with the client.
Throughout the weekend, we'll discuss how to evaluate vehicle condition, identify realistic goals, and communicate those findings in a way that helps customers understand the value of paint correction and ceramic coating services.
Many owners of high-mileage vehicles understand their paint has defects and wear. New vehicle owners, however, are often surprised to learn that factory paint can contain swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and other imperfections before they ever take delivery.
Although this is not a sales-focused class, students will gain valuable insight into how experienced professionals inspect vehicles, set expectations, and confidently discuss correction and protection options with clients. These real-world conversations often play a critical role in helping customers make informed decisions while building trust and credibility throughout the sales process.
